To streamline the level of work I do here, I have carefully folded “blogs and blogging” into General Chat. It made sense to have a separate blog forum when we were talking about Author Platforms almost daily but it feels like our needs have changed.
This way, I hope that the General Chat forum will feel more lively. If we end up with a lot of posts on a single topic, I am happy to extract them into a self-contained forum. For now, though, it makes more sense to have a single place to talk about blogs along with everything else.
Nothing has been lost, all topics from the blogs forum are in General Chat now. Except two that made more sense to go into the Help and Support group.
Hopefully, that makes sense. Thoughts, feelings, ideas… all that stuff – you know what to do.
