In my experience, Tumblr is a slow burn. It is itself a blog and the same rules apply. That said, the culture around Tumblr is a bit different.

That’s nothing to be ashamed of in and of itself. Some very successful book series started life as fan fiction. I’m not a fan of any of the examples I can think of but fan fiction is still writing.

That moment when someone reads your work and is suddenly an expert. They’ve never written anything but feel they have the right to tell me all the ways I’m wrong. I ignore any advice that’s not from someone who writes.

I am not convinced the current government can be relied upon to ensure anything. Least of all free movement for authors. Remaining in the EU will give us this but Brexit, not so much.
