Blog:
Mr Gaiman,

I was aware of Brute and Glob but I’ve only now read the Kirby series entirely and finally caught your reference to the death of Jed’s grandpa and his subsequent entrapment with aunt Clarice and uncle Barnaby that eventually led to Rose Walker and the Corinthian. Maybe not vital but it does tie your series to Kirby’s nicely. Did you intend to have more of the Kirby elements in your series? Thanks
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 6 months ago
Originally I wanted my Sandman to be Kirby’s. It was only when I was told that he wasn’t available that I made up my own.
