I’ve been making some under-the-hood improvements. Most of them thanks to Danny’s feedback.

It’s definitely a lot zippier.  I’m now waiting seconds for something to happen rather than several tens of seconds.

Still think it can be improved, but small changes infrequently is the way to go

Now, let’s see how long it takes to get this comment posted 🙂

I’ve added an additional speed enhancement. It is a very small one so I don’t expect it will make much difference but, as they say, every little helps.
