It’s definitely a lot zippier.  I’m now waiting seconds for something to happen rather than several tens of seconds.

Still think it can be improved, but small changes infrequently is the way to go

I’ve added an additional speed enhancement. It is a very small one so I don’t expect it will make much difference but, as they say, every little helps.
