Blog: Hi, do you have any good advice for dealing with critic of my writing? I generally write simply to indulge in my own imagination, but I’ve suddenly found myself almost finished writing the first draft of a shortish novel, and it’s got enough of a grip on me that I actually want to go through and fix it up a bit once I’m done. To that end I’ll be finding some friends who can read it for me and point things out, but I’m a little scared because my emotions don’t deal well with criticism even when I logically know it’s valuable. I’m worried it’ll throw me off from what I actually want to do with this project. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 1 year, 10 months ago
Then don’t show it to them until you’ve already done the next draft and you are really comfortable with it.

Hope you’re having an amazing day! from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 1 year, 10 months ago

Blog: Could you include a scene in Good Omens S2 of Aziraphale breaking down? Like, hands over ears and crying type thing? I feel like he’s always so put together but really he struggles a lot, and it would be nice to se whom comforted by Crowley. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 1 year, 10 months ago
Season 2 has already been written and shot, so I’m afraid I can’t add scenes now.
