Blog: This isn’t really a question as much as it is a funny thing I found out. So we were cleaning the house last week because my aunt and her family moved out. Guess what I find? Anansi Boys. I didn’t even know she read books, let alone fantasy books, so imagine my surprise when I find not one, but two copies! And then when I asked to keep one of the copies, she mentioned how we have more of your books in the family library. Because she collected it. Most of them were hardback. My point is, all of your books that I have in my room is already in the library, meaning we have at least two copies of each of those now. You officially have a place of honor in our library simply because I don’t talk to my aunt about books. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 1 month ago

Blog: Hello Mr. Gaiman, I have a question unrelated to any of the (highly exciting) recent filming. It’s time for me to look into this year’s Birthday Books for my nephews. I think it’s time to gift them your books again (The Wolves in the Walls was terrifying, The Day I Swapped my Dad… is remembered with love). It’s been years since I read Anansi Boys, and I can’t remember it fully. Is there anything in there utterly inappropriate for 18 year old boys with unrestricted access to the internet? from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 1 month ago
Nope. Go for it!

Blog: Thanks for all your thoughtful replies! In the last ask that you answered, you said, “Because that was what the Doctor called her, the first time they saw the TARDIS with the Eleventh Doctor’s eyes.” Do you also use they/them pronouns for the Doctor, then? from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 1 month ago
I do, if I’m talking about the Whole Doctor. If I’m talking about a specific Doctor I’d probably use the appropriate pronoun for that regeneration – Tom Baker w […]

Blog: I am a late reader of sandman, for some sort of gift giving day my husband got me the box set + 2 of the books. I got to see you when you visited WV, big fan.
