KeymasterI might not be the right person to answer this question as I’m a big fan of LibreOffice. I like to put each chapter in a separate file and then add a section for each chapter linked to the files to get one master file. That way it “understands” chapters (at least as much as I need it to).

KeymasterDanny is correct. I do run a group. We’re based in Thanet, Kent. Pop along, ask here, or message me if you have any questions. I’ll do my best to answer them.

KeymasterThe current answer is that nobody knows.
The Register article you linked is making the point that the law is unclear and that the definitions are wholly and not well defined.
IANAL but I think we shall be fine in the short term and will have to wait for clarification.

KeymasterThanks, Danny.
The old posts thing is a bug I’ve been fighting for ages. It’s driving me spare and I am still searching.
The email thing is new to me. That’s not a great thing. I’ll look into it.

KeymasterI just watched the interview.
I’m a big Banks fan so this was great. Thank you for sharing it and making a whole fan group for us too.

KeymasterThat is very much appreciated, Danny. I may take you up on that if my latest hotfix fails.
I’ve removed the transient caching. Page might be slightly slower but should always be fresh.

KeymasterIt blind sided me, too. I’m usually much more aware of daft tech laws that don’t understand the problem.

KeymasterYes. The front page is sensitive about changes. I have yet to figure out why.
In a funny turn of events, this sudden late-night activity is helping to flush out the display bug. For whatever reason, new updates always solve that problem.
