KeymasterI can recommend The Man Who Folded Himself by David Gerrold. It’s an older one, 1970’s sometime, I think. Great book.

KeymasterI’m still figuring that out myself.
Here’s a post where I talk about what I have learned so far:

KeymasterThere’s one I quote quite a lot. I’d forgotten it was a Pratchettism.
Give a man a fire and he’s warm for a day, but set fire to him and he’s warm for the rest of his life.
The quote is from Jingo I think.

KeymasterOoooh, I love this one.
- Get it down on paper; make it pretty later
- After an event, there are four stages -> immotion, reasoning, anticipation, and action
- If you gave 100 authors the same ideas, you would get (at least) 100 unique stories. Only you can tell yours.

KeymasterI’ve spotted that too. If I can’t figure out exactly why it changed, I’ll hit it with some targetted custom CSS later.

KeymasterI’m a heavy Mastodon user (like Twitter/x but better). You can set filters to hide stuff you don’t want to see.
Since setting filters for certain news and world leaders, my timeline has been a happier place.
Also, I made a point of following people who share art, positive stuff, and wholesome content. I love it.
