ParticipantHi Toni, I’m currently trawling through a whole bunch of editing so this question has, of course, piqued my interest and is a very welcome distraction. Â Unfortunately I’m unable to help you and I’m sure you’ve done all the usual googley/wiki things that I’ve just done, but I did think it interesting that fairy mythology is only particular to Europe apparently. Â Good luck with your research!

Toni McHaddenParticipantI’d thought I just was not looking properly. Other than a few myths from Austrailia all fairy mythology I have found is (mostly) European or started there.
Good luck with your editing. Happy to help with an interesting distraction.

Doctor HendrixParticipantAustralia has stories of balls of light that follow people – the Min Min.
The Philippines has Adarna. Adarna have healing powers and put people to sleep or turn them into stone.
There are many more.
