Just realised I never replied to this one.
Hello, I’m Jeff. Most of what I write is rubbish and not fit to be seen. I like writing and hope to be good at it one day.

I will see what I can do. No promises on time scale.

- Getting an agent
- Finishing your novel
- Getting started with your novel
- How can I blog when I’m not even writing?
- Is it too soon to start my blog?
- What do I blog whileI’m still not writing?

Jason Latnar replied to the topic What is your take on prologues? in the forum Aspiring Authors 6 years, 2 months ago
I like them in novels I own and hate them in stories when I beta-read. I think that most writers don’t do them good enough to be worth my time.

Life Goals etc.
- When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
- Right now (where ever the story is at) what do you want most?
- If you had one magic wish, what would it be?
- What would make you think about giving up and going home?
- Where do you see yourself in 5, 10, 20, or 50 years?
- What do you need to get…

I’ve got an idea for a story but I have no idea how to start it. I’m upset because the middle bit is real clear in my head and I cannot get to it because where do I start?

I’m thinking about writing a post about tags.
Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?

I have been going through the tags used on the Author Buzz blog and adding descriptions to them. It has been an interesting exercise.
I have learned a few things too.
- Not all tags are well focused and might need to be removed from posts.
- It is very confusing when a tag and a category have the exact same name. That is something to…
