Matthew Brown started the topic How to correctly promote a ghost writing business here in the forum General Chat 4 years ago
I have just removed a bunch of very spammy looking posts from the forum all promoting ghostwriting services. I have nothing against ghostwriters but I do have a problem with forum spam. Especially as we have a perfectly good directory where people might actually look for such services.
So, please, if you have something to promote – use the…Read more

Blog: <p>Hello Sir! You see, I have a final project from my university (second semester): to write a script in a maximum of 3 pages. I have no idea how to write it, I'm lost, and I have never written a script. I have the story, but I really don't know what to do (the main character is an ordinary nightingale, the co-star is a girl in a hospital) or how to start. Do you have any advice to share from your experience?</p> from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 4 years ago
Storyboard it out for yourself with stick figures, as if it’s a primitive comic. Then write down what the camera sees and what the people say and do.

Blog: <p>Hey there! I wanted to ask, since I see some of it, but like.. exactly how difficult is it for one to start a book, and dose a book outline, or idea for how to write it go the same for say, comic making? Blog: <p>Hi, Mr Gaiman. I hope you're alright. Probably a bad question, but I'm hard-of-hearing and autistic so I started writing a fantasy about a HoH autistic aeronaut, but now I feel guilty about writing a character similar to me. It feels like cheating that I'm not being more creative and branching out. Is this right?</p> from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 4 years ago

Blog: <p>Dear Mr. Gaiman – sorry to bother you but I really need your help. I love GO and enjoy the show immensely, in particular the relationship between Aziraphale and Crowley. However, I also suffer from OCD and scrupolosity and it affects me greatly – I realise it's fiction and it's for fun but I struggle so hard with some aspects due to the fear of somehow being 'unforgivable' due to Crowley being fallen and describing himself as so. I'm sorry if that's offensive. Is there any advice you could give?</p> from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 4 years ago
Crowley has not yet learned that just because you think of yourself as unforgivable it doesn’t mean that you cannot be forgiven. Or, indeed, that you need forgiveness.
