Blog:
I'm currently reading, and enjoying, Samuel Fanous' Epitaphs: A Dying Art. Did you have a similar collection of epitaphs when you wrote The Graveyard Book or did you rely on your own wanderings through cemeteries?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 4 years ago
Lots of cemetery walks and writing things that delighted me down in notebooks.

Blog:
Hi Neil, why did the r slur appear in the good omens book?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 4 years ago
Time. If you look up “retarded” now you will see “offensive, dated” in the definition. Good Omens was written over three decades ago, and back then, when Terry d […]

You don’t.

Blog:
My partner and I are very passionate about our books and shelving them; I’m a proud bookseller and he got his master’s in Library Science.

However, this passion lead us to a heated debate on whether Good Omens should be shelved under Pratchett or Gaiman. I say a Pratchett because it has top billing on the cover, he says it’s that it should be done by the earliest alphabetical possibility between the two names and that the book was originally your idea. What do you say?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 4 years ago
I’d shelve any Pratchett and Gaiman editions under P and any Gaiman and Pratchett editions under G.

I’m sorry that I missed your question, Toni. It was made around my birthday when I was taking a short break from the Internet.
Jason is correct that what matters most in an author’s blog is the writing of the content itself.

I fished your reply out of the spam bin, Jason. The forum spambot is a bit sensitive to multiple links in a post.

AFAIK all blogging systems are equal. It is what you do with them that matters.
Here are some threads that might help.

Blog:
Hey Mr. Gaiman! I wanted to thank you for your LGBT+ representation over the years. It's really nice to be seen by people, especially authors. I also think you're a really cool dude and I want to be a writer too. I guess I just wanted to let you know that your works have kept me stable and tethered as i've moved into adulthood, where the world is much more complicated. Also seeing crowley as a nanny helped me come to terms with being trans! (ftm) Thanks for everything.
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 4 years ago
You are so welcome. I’m glad the stories have helped.
