Matthew Brown wrote a new blog post Time to fess up about my unfinished projects in the group Matthew D. Brown (Author): 3 years, 11 months ago
I am really good at starting projects. I am less good at finishing them. They tend to get to 90% to 98% and then tick over waiting for me to “find time”.

Blog:
The first time I read Good Omens, it was a version of the book that included footnotes. I eventually lost that copy after several re reads, and was thrilled years later to find Good Omens in a bookstore and immediately bought it, only to get home and realize that it didn't have the notations I was used to. I've looked it up a few times but nothing really appears on a quick Google search, so I have to ask, where on earth do I find another version of good omens with the footnotes, do most versions have the footnotes and I somehow picked up a bunk copy, or did it never really exist and I'm crazy?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 11 months ago
I’ve never seen a version without the footnotes. Is this an English language edition?

Blog:
I'm in the midst of writing a medieval fantasy novel, and I'm struggling so much. How do you make decisions? That seems to be my biggest hang up – I have a lot of ideas of different ways/plots to lead the characters down but I can't decide which I want to do more and then I get flustered and frustrated because there's SO MANY possible things I COULD do that I just end up throwing up my hands and walking away in tears. How do I decide which is the best idea/plot/avenue to take?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 11 months ago
