Blog:
Hi Neil! I just went to MouseCircus to get a link to your Graveyard Book videos for a recommendation, and I saw there’s now a Coralline videos section that’s empty. Is that coming soon, or has it been removed already?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 8 months ago
It was removed accidentally – and lots of that section isn’t there right now. Thanks for the heads up. I’ve let people know that stuff needs to be fixed…

Blog:
Hi! So this isn’t so much a question but more a plea from a library lover in upstate New York about a library expansion project for teens.

A local library wants to have their teen room named for you, they are raising funds currently and my cousin is the longtime librarian and biggest fan. Libraries aren’t notorious for getting cool points but it was always my favorite place to be growing up.

I’ve attached the gofundme link so maybe some generous souls who have the means will see it here to donate?

I know it’s been a challenging year for so many. I know that I personally took refuge in some of my all time favorite books, and adding titles to that list.

If you have the means or inclination, please give the page a glance.

Thank you. 🙂
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 8 months ago
That’s so sweet – I’ve put the link up on Twitter, and it’s here as well…Edit to add, weird, it vanished. Let’s try again:Â

Blog:
I remember you were once described in the back of a comic book as "too cute for words." Is this true?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 8 months ago
No, it’s false. You misremember. It was in the Harlan Ellison introduction to the Season of Mists collection, so it would have been the front, not the back.

Blog:
hello sir, i was wondering if you have seen the coraline videos on youtube that try to dive deep in the lore: eg with the other mother, the cat, or the doll. What do you think of them? most are about the movie ofcourse but i wondered if these deeper theories are written into the story conciously? much appreciate your work!
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 8 months ago
I watched a couple of them, about a decade ago, and was amused and impressed by how much work people put into their fan theories.

I have many questions.
How to self-publish & still make money?
How much should I pay for an editor if I self-publish? Do I need an editor at all? Wouldn’t a spell checker do just fine?
Do self-published authors […]

In that spirit of finding stuff out, what are […]

Blog:
Not to be rude but why the sandman live adaptation? Wouldn't it be better off as a book? I think the radio play is good enough. Why the sudden "I want my books to be adapted for live action" craze. Don't get me wrong what you have done so far with Good Omens and American Gods are great but the Sandman?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 8 months ago
The first meeting I had with a studio (Warners) about doing a live action adaptation of Sandman was early 1990. I told them I didn’t want them to do it, because I […]
