Blog: I just left the Duke of York’s theater after seeing the Ocean at the End of the Lane. I was very indecisive on whether to see it or not, considering I live in Greece and I don’t have the chance to visit London and its great theaters often, and I really wanted to make the most of it. I ended up getting a ticket 2 days before the show, and most of what I would consider good seats were already gone, but not all. Today, when the show was ending and I was still silently sobbing so I wouldn’t bother anyone around me, all I could think of was I was really glad I saw it. The ocean at the end of the lane is my favourite book, not just by you but in general, and this show captured it in the absolutely best way. The actors were really amazing, and the effects were too, and the choreography, and everything. Just – thank you. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 11 months ago
You are so welcome. It’s a unique and special show.

Blog: I’m a mom to a really awesome 8 year old with special needs. While he is extremely proficient in music and piano, I’ve struggled for a long time to get him to take any interest in reading, he’s just never really latched to any book- UNTIL, we tried Coraline after watching the film. We read it together in the evenings, he talks about it extensively the rest of the day. This is the first book he’s ever taken a real interest in, so thank you so much for writing it!! from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 11 months ago
You are SO welcome! That made my day. Fortunately The Milk might also hold his interest. It’s very silly, but silly in a smart sort of way…

I’m so glad. I think it varies from country to country and from bookshop to bookshop. But hurrah for Armenia!
