Blog: Hello Mr. Gaiman ! I have a question that’s been on the back of my mind for a while now ever since I started reading Good Omens and finished watching the show. So sorry in advance if someone has already asked this, but I would like to know why is it that in the book Crowley is the one to speak the line: “he’s not evil incarnate or good incarnate, he’s just … a human incarnate”, whilst in the show it is Aziraphale who uses those words to encourage Adam to do what’s right and reassure him it’s okay to be ‘just’ a kid. Thank you in advance if you respond to this, you’re a great inspiration and make my days better! from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 10 months ago
I thought the line worked better on the screen if I gave it to Aziraphale.
