Blog: Hi, there, sir, fan of your work, currently reading Trigger Warnings for the first time, and was shocked to know that you really have an official Tumblr page, so here I am… OK, I have a question: in the short story “The Lunar Labyrinth”, is the very final word, “laughter”, really THE last word of the story (which is hauntingly great, by the way) or is it a typo of the word “slaughter”? Not only that, is the ending a downer or actually a happy one that actually feels like a downer? Don’t worry if you’re not gonna answer for a while, since you’re busy and I’m admittedly patient enough while reaching “The Case of Death and Honey” as of this writing. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 5 months ago
It’s laughter. With an S very close to it…

Just curious on your take on that, because I, as a fan, prefer your original of Neverwhere, and found your descriptions of characters charming, mysterious, and wonderful. (that’s a hefty portion of all your creations, really, if I’m being honest) from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 5 months ago
The graphic novel adaptation of Neverwhere wasn’t something I was in control of, no.

Blog: I showed my father A Study in Emerald, as he is a big Holmes fan, and he told me to “Let this Neil Gaiman fella know that he’s a pretty good writer”, and that he should “Write some more of these stories, if he’s not too busy.” from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 5 months ago
I really should. Show him “A Case of Death and Honey” too, if you get a chance.
