Blog: Hello Mr Gaiman. Hope you’re well. While reading HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES, the graphic novel- I noticed that a line which seemed to be an important clue as to what may have happened— omitted. “Her clothes were in disarray, and there was makeup smudged across her face, and her eyes… Of course, the details are quite apparent when you look at the illustration but I was wondering if there was a reason behind this omission or if it was just a technical decision for the graphic novel. Ps : I loved this story, I feel as if I too have changed after reading it. Quite similar to how “ you cannot hear a poem without it changing you” <3 from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 8 months ago
Sometimes the artists feel that they don’t need a prose line from the story in an adaptation if they can show the thing in the picture.

Blog: Hello Mr. Neil! I wonder if you still use Libre Office for writing on your computer, since it’s being some time when you last spoke about software of your choice and I’m incredibly curious about it. Alsooo, in polish Neverwhere is called Nigdziebądź which basically means BeNowhere and it bothers me probably more than it should (Nigdziegdzie would be more fitting in my opinion). Anyways, greetings from Warsaw and have a nice day!!! from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 8 months ago
Still using Libre Office. Mostly because it’s the only WP I know that still speaks Word Perfect, and all my files from 1986-2005ish are in Word Perfect.
