Blog: I’m sure you’ve already said this but I can’t find it and I’m wondering, I know that GO2 is **very** far away but as far as very rough estimates go, does late 2023 sound accurate for a release? Maybe a trailer? from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 6 months ago
I don’t know. I’m really not being coy. Somewhere in 2023 is definitely the way to bet. Beyond that, it’s up to when we finish making it and deliver it, and then […]

Blog: hi Mr Neil Gaiman, I found this quote on the internet and it was attributed to you: “I think hell is something you carry around with you. Not somewhere you go.” May I know in which context did you say/write it? Would love to read the entire book/ interview. Thank you! from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 7 months ago
It’s in a Sandman book called SEASON OF MISTS, and you might enjoy it. It’s the fourth of the Sandman graphic novels.

Blog: Hello Neil G, How have you been recently? So I was curious what you might say to this question: do you find that when your life is in flames, it’s hard to write? Or is it the opposite? I’ve found for myself that sometimes when everything is going wrong, and I convert it into a story, it becomes a lot more real and inviting. But at the same time it’s hard to continually write when I keep feeling overwhelmed. What is your take? – purplealchemist from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 7 months ago
Both. It’s easier to head into a fictional place I can control, but harder to write if I’m upset.

Blog: Dearest Neil, I’ve just woken up from my surgery at UPMC Presbyterian and I wanted to tell you that while I was so terrified in the OR pre-op, shaking and crying so terrified I was nauseous, an angel of a nurse found Good Omens on Prime for me to watch on her personal cellphone and calmed me while we watched through my tears. All I could say was “you have no idea how happy i am to see you.!our boys]” By the time Aziraphale said “No it’d not be funny at all,” three of us me the nurse and my aid had all given a quiet good nature breathless laugh- total 180 from 11 minutes prior. I wanted you to know how much your stories mean, and how precious they are to so many. 🙂 thank you Neil from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 7 months ago
I’m so glad. I’ll show this to Douglas Mackinnon, who directed Good Omens, when I see him today as well.
