Advertise your book for free

As part of the Author Buzz mission to promote authors (especially authors in the UK), we would like to offer authors the chance to promote their book for free.

There are no catches. You just find your way to our directory and add your book to the books section. You will see subsections with different genres. Adding your book advert to one of those will still cause it to appear in the books section. So it shows up twice, in effect.

Adding your book

Directory submissions in the books section have extra fields so you can give your ISBN, release date, and places where people can buy the book. As always there is a field where you can put a link. That link should be to a page that gives information about the book or where the book can be purchased.

I recommend uploading a cover image which will be shown with your listing. There are tight limits on image size so make sure you don’t use one that is too big.

What next?

Once approved by our hard-working admins, your listing will be there for all to see. It usually takes between an hour and a few days for listings to be approved depending on how busy our admins are.

While you are waiting, you might want to grab a free Author Buzz account. We are working hard on creating a system where authors can list all their books on their own profile just by providing a list of ISBN numbers. As soon as that is ready, existing members will get early access.

Take advantage of our topic-specific groups, active forums, and advice articles on topics such as beta readers, self-publishing, and author platform building. If you need a blog, we can provide one of those too. Author Buzz UK is here to help authors find readers.
