Have you been tinkering with the login mechanism?  My password manager used to fill in both username & password, but now I have to add the username separately

There are no changes that I’ve made. It should still be as vanilla as it gets.

Well I figured it out, my password manager is putting the username in the ‘Subscribe today’ box, though I’ve no idea why

That is slightly odd. The subscribe box is clearly marked up for an email address instead of a username and password for the login box.

Which password manager are you using? Perhaps we can file a ticket with them for a bug fix?
