[FIXED] I think I found a following bug

      When I click to follow someone I get “There has been a critical error on this website.”, if I go back and refresh the follow worked. Am I doing something wrong???

      I fixed a bug similar to this a few months ago. Let me look into this and see if I can replicate it.

      I had a dip inside the code and you are right. PHP throws an error in 7.1+ when treating strings as arrays whereas before it silently converted to an array. I added a hot fix, flagged the bug with the plugin maintainers and all seems to be working again.
