When is it OK to call myself a writer?

      I’m working on my first novel. I’m at 12513 words now. Is it too soon to tell people that I am a writer?

      In my opinion you’re a writer after the first sentence

        I would agree with that opinion. Acorn Boi is someone who has written and is, therefore, a writer.
