Blog: Hi, Mr Gaiman! Since you used to go into bookstores and sign copies of your books for unsuspecting people, did you ever do that with comics? from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 1 year, 8 months ago
No. I’ve signed a lot of comics in my time, but not surreptitiously.

Blog: I told my friend “Hey, Y’know that author, Neil Gaiman? He’s on Tumblr.” My friend just asked “…Why..?” I simply responded with “He kinda just chills here and we can’t get him to leave.” Long story short, my friend compared you to a stray cat. This is why you’re a blessing on Tumblr. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 1 year, 8 months ago

Blog: Dear Mr Gaiman, Do you ever get worried that the story you want to tell is too vast to ever properly do justice to? How do you see the middle when the end is so far out of sight? from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 1 year, 8 months ago
I worried about that with Sandman. It was about 3000 pages of comics, altogether, and that’s about 12,000 pages of script. So you take it a panel at a time and a […]

Blog: Not an ask. I just really want to share this with you. Besides, there’s nobody else I could tell. I just bought a physical copy of American Gods today, and I feel like combusting. It’s my first time buying myself a physical book. And with my own money! I’m not as privileged as my internet peers who could buy everything they wanted within a snap of their fingers, and seeing them post their physical book collections makes me feel somewhat inferior. But this… Oh, this. I’m proud of this. I feel so content. Life is good. P.S. You’re my favorite author. (read: I spend a lot of time reading your works and staring at their physical copies in awe every time I go to a bookstore) You inspire me to pick up a pen and start writing. P.P.S. I’m about to take my college entrance exams pls wish me luck from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 1 year, 8 months ago
Good luck!

Blog: hello mr. gaiman, i recently picked up a secondhand copy of terry pratchett’s Wyrd Sisters and found it had a signature on the title page. I was googling mr. pratchett’s signature and it looks somewhat similar. i figured you were familiar with his signature and wondered if you could tell if he signed it or if it’s just someone else with similar loops and 2 hatchmarks at the end. all the best, i hope you have a good day! from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 1 year, 8 months ago
That was Terry.
