Collaborative platform building for authors

Whenever I read advice about authors building a platform it is always something you have to do alone. Why? Who says a platform cannot be shared, social, and collaborative?

This is why I created Author Buzz. Rather than each of us labouring alone, we can collaborate and each benefits from the efforts of the wider community. That’s a win-win situation.

Where are readers more likely to go – a blog they have yet to hear about or a hub of blogs, social media, and author communities?

Author Buzz is a social platform building hub for authors to sell more books and impress publishers & agents. It is easier to build your platform as part of an active ecosystem of real live readers and authors.

Here you can create communities around your books and use tools like free forums, free WordPress blogs, and even push your headlines onto our front page.

If you need a blog but don’t know where to start. We have you – just create a group and say yes to a blog. Our little robots will do the rest for you.

If you want a forum. Again make a group and say yes to a forum.

Your group can be public, private, or secret. You can allow members to contribute to your blog or not (this is up to you). You can even pull headlines from an external blog, Tumblr or anywhere else with an RSS feed. And all that goes into your community group. If the group is public, it also ends up on our front page for everyone to see.

On top of that, there is a friendly community of readers, authors, and bloggers over in our forums. Not to mention a directory for you to advertise whatever you think our community might enjoy. All of this is completely free.
