Blog:
Hello Mr. Gaiman. Do you have any particular favorite Latin American author? By the way, I want to get a tattoo regarding Good Omens (Crowley and Aziraphale, to be precise). My father told me he would let me do it only if you gave me permission (I don't really get why, I'm an adult already (23 y/o man), but well, here we are). Have a great day, hope you and your family are doing well.
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 8 months ago
Probably Borges. He was the first Latin American writer who made an impression on me and wrote what I wanted to read. You don’t need my permission to get a t […]

Matthew Brown replied to the topic What pages does a good author blog need in the forum General Chat 3 years, 8 months ago
I was thinking about doing some videos about Author Platforms and blogging in general. I’ve lost my voice at the moment but as soon as I can speak again, I’m going to start producing videos in runs of seasons. The next season is Authors, blogging, and social media. Not the final name, just a working title.

Matthew Brown edited the blog post BitTorrent based publishing in the group Matthew D. Brown (Author): 3 years, 8 months ago
What would happen if we combined blogs and BitTorrent?

Blog:
Hi Mr Gaiman. Its my friend Bethan's birthday in 20 minutes (25th November) and she's very distressed by a dream she once had where you told her to "grow up" because she thinks Aziraphale is very cool.

It would mean a lot if you could tell her that you don't think this!!! Or also very funny if you want to agree with your dream self!! Either way we're watching Gomens to celebrate this hallowed day, hope you're doing well!
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 8 months ago
Aziraphale is very cool, and I haven’t grown up yet either.

Blog:
Hello, I have a question about writing. My English teacher keeps telling us that when we are writing our short stories we should be writing for the reader and not for ourselves. I'm not sure if she really means it like that or if she just wants us to keep our writing's effect on the reader in mind, but this seems to go against everything I feel writing is about. What are your thoughts?
from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 3 years, 8 months ago
She’s right. Sort of. You are writing to be read. It’s not journaling. I imagine a reader who is me, just a me who has never read that story. Sometimes a me of a d […]
