Blog: as an author, are you aware of every book cover/edition of your works? or do you sometimes find book covers you haven’t seen? from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 7 months ago
There have been many times over the decades that I have been handed books to sign that I was seeing for the first time.

Blog: Hello Mr Gaiman. Books of Magic is my very favorite comic, especially issue 2! I’ve always wondered- when you had John show Tim around, and eventually end up at Zatanna’s house, how come she was so friendly to John after her father’s death, considering how angry she was in Swamp Thing? Was it purely to move the plot along? A very small detail in the overall scheme of things, but it’s always fascinated me! from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 7 months ago
We knew from Swamp Thing that she and John had been lovers previously. I figured that, four or five years after her father’s death, she was willing to let b […]

Sarah replied to the topic Fairy mythology in the forum General Chat 2 years, 7 months ago
Hi Toni, I’m currently trawling through a whole bunch of editing so this question has, of course, piqued my interest and is a very welcome distraction. Unfortunately I’m unable to help you and I’m sure you’ve done all the usual googley/wiki things that I’ve just done, but I did think it interesting that fairy mythology is only particular to…Read more

Blog: You’ve gotten some very antagonistic asks, seemingly moreso recently, and your responses when they come through are always tactful and gracious and patient and I just want to thank you for that. I’ve watched other authors I follow snap at fans in real time and it’s always left me hesitant to continue interacting with the author’s page and other fans. I’ve never worried about the space you’ve created here not feeling safe or even, dare I say, gentle and the vast majority of fans continue to foster that atmosphere. I hope you know that it’s very appreciated. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 7 months ago

Blog: I’m sorry for assuming that stuff of you. I didn’t realize that you responded that way to everything involving season 2. I assumed and I’d like to apologize. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 7 months ago
Apology absolutely accepted.

you don’t have to answer this I just feel like it should be known that. going “oh well you’ll just have to watch to see” when there might not be a payout at all is rude to queer fans. and like. you don’t have to put queer stuff into Good Omens but holding it over people’s heads is. kinda shitty. from Neil Gaiman in the group Fans of Neil Gaiman 2 years, 7 months ago
My response to every question I’ve been asked about the plot or content of Season 2 of Good Omens has been “Wait and see”. You might want to reread the answe […]
