I know how bad it feels when you get negatives. It only takes one to drown out hundreds of positives if you let it.

They hated everything? It sounds like it might not be you. I would say that this reader just does not like the genre and story type you have written. I’d be very surprised if it had anything to do with your writing.

I felt crushed when I received some beta reader feedback that was all negatives. My reader hated everything about the story, the character, and the setting.
