Now with free SSL

As part of the changes we have been talking about on the dev blog, Author Buzz UK and all of your blogs, now have a free SSL certificate. You don’t have to do anything, it has all been done for you.

All blogs have been switched over to use HTTPS already.

SSL certificates, for those that don’t know, are what are required to create a secure connection. When you see the padlock symbol at the corner of your address bar, that’s SSL.

What it means for you and your readers is that visitor privacy is fully protected. Your password and details are just as secure as with online banking.

Let us know if anything breaks

If you see any error messages or warnings, please report them in the help and support group so I can get on with fixing things. To be honest, I’m not expecting anything to break but there is always something.

If everything runs swimmingly for you, why not drop by help and support to tell me not to be such a worry wart.
